In order to better navigate perimenopause and menopause, knowledge is power.

Individual counselling for PeriMenopauseMenopause

Perimenopause, is a natural transition period that most women experience in their late 40s or early 50s. It signifies the gradual decline in reproductive hormones, leading to several physical and emotional changes. Seeking support, practicing self-care, and discussing symptoms with a healthcare provider can help manage these changes and ensure a smoother transition into menopause.

Menopause occurs when you have gone 12 months without having a period.  Many of the symptoms experienced in perimenopause can also appear at a time when women are dealing with other challenges and life transitions.  Aging, retirement, growing children, grief and loss, past trauma, health concerns and relationship issues to name a few.

Counselling will provide you a safe space in which to explore this transition and understand the changes you are experiencing.  We will work towards develop coping strategies, taking into consideration one's mental, emotional, spiritual, physical and social well-being.
