My approach focuses on helping women to clearly define and achieve their personal wellness goals, taking into consideration the mind and body connection. I understand that each woman is unique, with her own unique challenges and strengths, so I tailor my therapy to meet individualized needs. Together, we will identify and promote your strengths and resources to help you face the issues and difficulties that are important to you. I believe in a compassionate and strengths-based approach when working with women. While I use various therapeutic approaches, I have found Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to be especially effective in addressing a wide range of concerns. I collaborate with my clients to set goals and support their journey towards personal wellness.
Research confirms that in most situations, Virtual Therapy is just as effective as face-to-face therapy. Virtual sessions are secure and the platform used follows PIPEDA guidelines, which ensures your privacy and confidentiality.
I work from a Strength-based, Trauma Informed perspective focusing on a person's internal strengths and resourcefulness. Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy are models I use quite regularly in my practice.
