I focus on helping adults clearly define and reach their personal wellness goals from a holistic perspective - the mind and body are connected in subtle and amazing ways. Realizing that each person is unique in both their challenges and strengths, therapy is molded around individualized needs. We will work together to identify and promote your strengths and resources to cope with the issues or difficulties that concern you. Many therapeutic approaches are found to be helpful in supporting and guiding individuals and families through life's challenges. I have a compassionate and strengths based approach when working with individuals. In addition to other interventions and techniques, I have found that Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is an extremely useful approach when working with a wide variety of concerns. I work collaboratively with my clients to set goals and move towards personal wellness.

I recognize that my clients have differing needs therefore I offer the flexibility of in-person sessions as well as virtual sessions. Research confirms that in most situations, Virtual Therapy is just as effective as face-to-face therapy. Virtual sessions are secure and the platform used follows PIPEDA guidelines, which ensures your privacy and confidentiality.

I work from a Strength-based, Trauma Informed perspective focusing on a person's internal strengths and resourcefulness. Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy are models I use quite regularly in my practice.

Compassionate and non-judgemental support for women who are experiencing depression, anxiety and stress. I also offer specialized counselling focusing on the inevitable, though often challenging, perimenopausal/menopausal transition.
Though grief is natural, many of us can get lost in the grieving process. In grief and loss therapy, I will work with you and your unique situation to navigate through your loss in a healthy way.
